Sh2-205, the larger of the two. NGC1491(Sh2-206) in lower right. Sh2-205 is about in the center of two constellations, Camelopardilas and Perseus with NGC1491 sitting in Perseus. While Sh2-205 is about 100x100, NGC1491 is only at 25x25. Distance wise, Sh2-205 is about 3200 light years and NGC1491(Sh2-206) is about 10,700. . . |
