Date & Location: 08-11-2023 Lockwood Observatory, Descanso,CA. Exposure: LRGB 280, 80, 80, 80 L-28x10, RGB-8x10ea (bin 1x1) Optics: TEC APO180FL w/TEC FF@ f/7.2 / F/L 1296mm. TEC APO110FL w/ TEC FF @ f/5.74, 631mm Mount: Astro-Physics 1100GTO-AE CP4 / Astro-Physics Mach 1 GTOCP4 Camera: FLI-PL16803 @-25c and FLI-ML694 @-25c / Both with FLI-Atlas focuser / Guided by ZWO-174 / w OAG. Filters: Astrodon G2 LRGB / Chroma LRGB Software: Software MaxImDL 6.11, Photoshop CC, CCDStack Topaz Studio. Notes: Sky conditions: Average seeing, Temp mid 60’s ML694 Image Field of view is 68x55 arcmin. Image Scale 1.48 arcsec/pix. Just for Lums. PL16803 Image Field of view is 98x98 arcmin. Image Scale 1.43 arcsec/pix. Just for RGB. _________________________________________________________________________ NGC 225, Is the open cluster and is estimated to be around 10 million years old, thus making this one of the youngest open clusters and is most likely the remains of Vdb 4. Vdb 4 is a Reflection Nebula LDN 1291 is the dark Nebula just below Vdb 4. Setup 1, Astro-Physics Mach 1 GTOCP4, TEC110 @f/5.73 630mm and the FLI-ML694 with 4.54um pixels, image scale 1.48, fov 68x55. This was used just for the lum subs. Setup 2, Astro-Physics 1100GTO-AE CP4 , TEC180 @f/7.2 1296mm and the FLI-PL16803 with 9um pixels, image scale 1.43, fov 98x98. This was used just for RGB subs. The Lum subs setup was with the TEC110 and the FLI-ML694 was processed and left alone, as far as it's orientation. The RGB subs setup was with the TEC180 and the FLI-PL16803 was again processed and at this point, it needed to be rotated .95 degrees CC, resized and cropped to match the image size of the 694 chip. .
