Exposure: LRGB 5-5-5-5, 5 ea. @ 1min. (bin 1x1) Un- Guided
Optics: Telescope Engineering Company APO110FL w/ TEC FF @ f/5.74, 631mm using the Optec FocusLynx.
Mount: Astro-Physics 1200CP4 GTO / ATS 10x36 pier.
Camera: FLI-PL16803 @-25c / CFW5-7
Filters: Astrodon G2 LRGB
Software: MaxImDL 6.10, Photoshop CS5, CCDStack, Topaz Labs.

Image Field of view is 200 x 200 arcmin. North Up
Sh2-235 is at the head of the comet. Sh2-231 is to the right

Discovered by Michel Giacobini who observed the comet in the constellation Aquarius on December 20, 1900. Giacobini–Zinner can reach about the 8th magnitude, but in 1946 it underwent a series of outbursts that made it as bright as 5th magnitude. It’s the parent body of the Giacobinids meteor shower (also known as the Draconids). The comet currently has an Earth-MOID of 0.035 AU (5,200,000 km; 3,300,000 mi) (Wikipedia)
